This complements other arrangements in the region we have established for test-site facilities and secure dry storage arrangements. LSL sees this as just a beginning for Luffships and will follow up to advise further as developments progress.
Bedfordshire generally is where we are setting up, providing a way to grow as employers in the region. Bedford is near to the Cardington airship sheds – formerly a major hub for buoyant aircraft (BA). We plan to enable aerostats and airships compliant with environmental needs for 21st Century aerial services, rebuilding the industry for them from the ground up in new ways that overcome past issues.
We also are Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce members, helping LSL to develop business. LSL looks forward to connecting with businesses and engaging people interested to work with us to reshape BA and make them successful.
